Allium Giganteum
Allium giganteum, also known as Giant Onion, is a perennial bulbous plant of the onion genus, used as a flowering garden plant, and growing to 1.5 metres (4.9 ft). It is the tallest ornamental Allium in common cultivation. In early to midsummer, small globes of intense purple umbels appear, followed by attractive fruiting umbels. Allium giganteum have been granted the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit
