Description

Fragrant, large white flowers with pink stripes down each petal. It grows well in light shade.

Crinum Cintho Alpha - These lovely spidery trumpets sit high on 80-90 cm stems with each stem producing around 8-12 flowers, making a lovely cut flower.
Likes to be in a south facing position, preferably in the shelter of a warm sunny site, in fertile, well-drained soil. This Crinum has been crossed with crinum powellii and powellii alba.

The flower stem bears a cluster of about 10 large funnel shaped, fragrant blooms, in late summer or Autumn.

Easy to grow, in a sunny well-drained position. Early August flowering.
The extra large bulb should be planted just under the surface of the soil with its neck  2-3cm above ground.
