Sowing Info

Sow seed in pots on the surface the compost. Place the seed and tray in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and keep at around 15-20C (59-68F) until the seeds germinate. This can take 14-30 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.

Growing Info

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots. Plant out when all risk of frost has gone about 15cm (6in) apart. Can also be sown outdoors where they are to flower, 6mm (1/4in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Thin out to 23cm (9in) apart.
