Unbelievable crop of large, disease free onions
Overwintered these last year and got a crop of beautiful, large, disease free onions. Best onions I ever grew, so I ordered them again this year.

Excellent onions to grow over the winter
I planted about 40 of these onions during October and November 2012. These are a great "overwintering" onion and I will definitely use them again. They all grew to a lovely uniform shape and size. I think only about 4-5 didn't grow at all - I blame the gloomy weather! I started harvesting from late May to early June, and all dried out really well. They seem to be storing really well for me so far too. I haven't bought onions now since mid-June! I plan to plant twice as much this year.
