Snapdragons are a timeless cottage garden favourite. This dwarf, free-flowering mixture adds a magical carpet of colour to borders and containers. Its spreading habit also makes it ideal for rockeries.

Sowing Info

Sow seed in pots on the surface of the compost. Place the pots in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and keep at around 20-25C (68-77F) until the seeds germinate. This will take about 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.

Growing Info

Transplant seedlings into pots when large enough to handle. Plant out when all risk of frost has gone about 30cm (12in) apart or plant 6 plants in a 45cm (18in) diameter container.
