Sowing – Sow early summer to mid winter at 18-20°C (65-70°F) in a good seed compost. Do not cover the seed with compost. Germination usually takes 15-30 days.
Growing – When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Plant out 60cm (24in) apart in sun or part shade on ordinary garden soil.
