A hugely popular variety, Pea 'Oregon Sugar Pod' produces large, fleshy double pods with a deliciously, sweet flavour. Pick them young while they are tender and stringless - perfect for steaming and adding to stir fries. This superb Mangetout produces heavy yields over a long period and shows good resistance to mildew which will certainly extend the picking season. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 25cm (10"). 250 seeds approx.

Bountiful!
A great grower. I sowed in two batches - the first four in colder Spring weather and the second four when it was warm. The later sowing caught up and I will wait for warmer weather next year. Both now have mildew, but still producing a handful every day in early September. Juicy, tender, delicious in salads and cooked - I've frozen most of them.
