For a spectacular spring display with maximum variety, our Mixed Double Daffodils bring together a selection of beautiful double-flowered narcissi in one economical bulk mixture.
Unlike traditional trumpet daffodils, double narcissi produce full, multi-layered flowers packed with petals and ruffled centres. The mixture provides variations in colour, flower form and markings, giving large plantings a rich and constantly changing appearance.
Expect a lively combination of colours that may include yellow, white, cream, orange, peach and contrasting two-tone flowers, depending on the varieties included in the mixture.
They are perfect for substantial borders, cottage gardens and cutting gardens where the individual flowers can be enjoyed as well as the overall mass display.
Why We Chose It
Double narcissi are among the most extravagant flowers of spring, and a mixture allows gardeners to enjoy a broad selection without having to purchase each variety separately.
Mr Middleton Verdict
A box of spring surprises. With a mixture, you don't know exactly which beautiful double flower will open next – and that's half the enjoyment.
Garden Designer’s Tip
Plant Mixed Doubles in generous informal groups rather than mixing them individually throughout a large landscape. Keeping them reasonably concentrated creates a spectacular feature while still allowing all the different flower forms and colours to mingle.

For stronger growth and flowering, apply Mr Middleton Seaweed Feed when planting and again as growth develops in early spring.
Because double narcissi carry heavier flowers than many single varieties, a position protected from the strongest winds is beneficial.
Allow the foliage to die back naturally following flowering so the bulbs can replenish their reserves for the following season.
